Solid Green (ok )
Your battery is actively charging within normal limits. You will see this indication when your engine is running and your charging system is working correctly. You should also see a solid green LED when an external battery charger is connected and actively charging your battery.

|
Flashing Green (ok )
Your vehicle is parked/stored/not in use, i.e. it is "idle". Your battery is well-charged and healthy. Each time your battery stops charging, it may take a few moments for Battery Marvel to switch from solid green to flashing green due to an electro-chemical phenomenon known as "surface charge". |
|
Solid Yellow (ok )
Your battery is currently providing significant current, normally due to cranking/starting the vehicle.
Once the vehicle has started, the LED should change to solid green. If the cranking voltage dips too low, however, the solid yellow LED will change to flashing red and an alert will be issued. |
|
Flashing Yellow + Alert (remaining battery charge is low )
Your remaining battery charge is low. Recharge your battery as soon as possible, using an external battery charger if required. Investigate to determine contributing cause(s) such as low electrolyte level, inadequate charging system performance, battery degradation, or excessive current draw by headlights, radio or other accessories. |
|
Solid Red + Alert (charging voltage is too high or too low )
Your battery is charging at voltage which is outside the recommended limits (either too high or too low) for the current ambient temperature. Possible causes include a defective alternator or voltage regulator, loose/broken accessory belt, loose connections to the battery, excessive load on the battery by electrical accessories and many other charging system problems. |
|
Flashing Red + Alert (battery health is very poor )
Your remaining battery charge or battery health are very poor. Your battery may be about to experience catastrophic failure and it may not start your vehicle. Have your battery tested and replaced if required, particularly if the battery is 36+ months old. |
